Our opening hours are -
Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Sunday 10am to 3pm.
Our viewing hours are -
11am to 3pm Monday to Saturday.
We are closed to the public on all Bank Holidays.
Our family owned kennels and cattery business are managed and supervised by Joan Foster and her daughter Claire.
Ken Foster is our dog trainer/behaviour consultant and has been training dogs for over 30years. He has represented England in the Schutzhund sport as well as qualifying in working trials disciplines with his own dogs.
We can offer residential dog training as well as private lessons to individuals on a one to one basis by prior appointment.
We occasionally breed German Shepherd dogs and have stud dogs available.
We have provided German Shepherd dogs to both Armed Services and Police Forces as well as suppling/training dogs for
film, T.V. and advertising work.

Our two Burmese cats went to Queastybirch for about fourteen years and our Welsh Terrier (Tigger) has been going for over 11 years.
They all appear to have been happy to go to Queastybirch and if Tigger is off his lead when we arrive, he will run into the kennels and greet whoever is on duty as if they were long lost friends.
We have always been impressed by the cleanliness of the whole area, no matter what time of day we arrive to deliver or collect the animals.
We would thoroughly recommend Queastybirch to all animal lovers who want their animal looked after in a highly professional manner by the friendly owners.

My Mum and Dad were working dogs owned by Ken, Joan and Claire Foster, proprietors of the kennels. When I was old enough and my owners went away on their holidays, I went on my holiday to my ‘home’ kennels.I always enjoy returning to Queastybirch where I and the other dogs and cats are well looked after. The kennels are clean and the staff friendly. I get well fed, exercised and groomed and can catch up on the local gossip with my doggy friends who I have met on previous visits. I have even occasionally met my sister. Joan, Ken, Claire and the kennel maids always make my holiday enjoyable. Of course I am always pleased to hear my human ‘mum and dad’s’ voices and know I will be home soon. I can always look forward to my next happy holiday at Queastybirch Kennels.
I always recommend these kennels to other dogs I meet.
